How latent mode frames its field — it's live behind this panel, so drag and watch. Nothing is saved until you press Save.
0.50 is dead centre. Latent mode puts the field right of centre and a little low, so the reading pane sits in front of it rather than on it. Rotation is a multiple of the usual drift — 1 is what it has always been, 0 holds it still.
